Importing of Spanish Water Dogs.
Demand for Spanish Water Dogs is increasing rapidly as more people find out about this beautiful breed. Sometimes there are not enough litters born in England to meet expectations. Because of this we can import Spanish Water Dogs from Spain, and have already brought 7 dogs over either for buyers or ourselves.
Whilst more expensive than waiting for a English-born puppy (home-grown), for the more committed and experienced owner it offers a wonderful way to enhance the gene pool in England.
Because of the sensitive nature of Spanish Water Dogs I don’t advise having them flown over. Instead I recommend that we collect them by land, enabling us to pay them the close attention they need through their journey.
Our costs for driving to Spain to collect a Spanish Water Dog would be £500. This includes insurance and constant care for the 2 days drive. This is additional to the cost of the dog itself. We are in regular contact with Antonio Garcia Perez and David Norman in Spain.
Breeder Recommended Spanish Water Dog Dried Food.
We have been currently looking into importing the complete dried food recommended by the Spanish Water Dog breeders in Spain. Unfortunately we don’t believe it is of better quality than we can obtain here in England, and as our brands are readily available it will be better all round to keep with what we know
